Company Overview

The Order of Malta is one of the oldest medical missions in the world and is active in 120 countries caring for the poor and the sick through its medical, social and humanitarian works.

Its 13,500 members, 80,000 permanent volunteers and qualified staff of 25,000 professionals (most of whom are medical personnel and paramedics), form an efficient network that includes everything from hospital work, medical care and social services to emergency relief for refugees and intervention in areas hit by natural disasters.

The Order of Malta Medical Clinic in Dili, Timor-Leste will provide excellent basic primary out of hospital medical care and health education to the people of Timor-Leste. In the initial period, the primary emphasis will be on the care of women and children.
