Aftercare is a not-for-profit organisation that supports people with mental illness and disability. Established in 1907 by Emily Patterson, Aftercare is the longest servicing, non-government organisation in Australia offering community based psychosocial support; supported accommodation and clinical treatment and interventions to people experiencing mental ill-health. Today, Aftercare is a leader in social and emotional wellbeing by providing high quality services and by being an employer of choice for those seeking a career in health, mental health and related services.
