- MP Year 1-9 $355,172 - $452,806 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 10% superannuation and applicable allowances)
In this role, you will provide a specialist service in Neurosurgery including subspecialty in neurovascular surgery. You will assist the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist surgical services to patients. You will promote patient safety and quality of care. The successful applicant will provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers. In collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants you will work to achieve national, state and North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) performance standards and targets. You will also work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the NMHS Medical Credentialing Committee.
This position may work at both Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Osborne Park Hospital.

Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) is a community general hospital providing comprehensive specialist health care services for the north metropolitan suburbs. The services at OPH are provided by three main specialties consisting of Rehabilitation and Aged Care Services and Younger Adult Rehabilitation, Surgical Services and Women’s and Newborn Services. Each of these specialties has a dedicated Allied Health Services Team. Supporting these specialties are hospital wide services including Infection Prevention and Control, diabetes inpatient and community services, Pharmacy, Pathology and Radiology
