The Prince Edward Family Health Team (PEFHT) is seeking Family Physicians to join our dynamic and collegial group of 23 rural physicians serving the picturesque community of Prince Edward County. This opportunity includes a full Family Health Organization (FHO) spot, offering you flexibility, autonomy, and the support of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Maintain a comprehensive office-based family practice in Picton or Wellington
• Provide inpatient care at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) approximately 3–4 weeks per year (hospitalist coverage). During these weeks, your office practice is covered by PEFHT Nurse Practitioners at no cost to you
• Register with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada is required)*

*Australia is an approved jurisdiction to obtain your Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada without examination.
